I just wrote a long description of a patient of mine who died on Sunday: his life, and how his death has affected me. I've scrapped it because it might make him recognisable to someone. So it's enough to say that S was a special gentle person who brightened up all our hydrotherapy afternoons and suffered enormous pain with great dignity.

It was a priviledge to be aprt of his life for the last year, and I shall miss him and his smile very much.
